"Worst Husband," the Woo Connection...
Edited on Sat Feb-14-09 02:45 AM by onager
To get all the details, just google "Stephen Fowler--Wife Swap." Or look here: http://blog.stephenfowlersucks.com/

In summary, last week the reality show "Wife Swap" paired a Missouri housewife with the Fowlers, who live in San Francisco and are practically a living parody of that city's wonky elitist scum.

e.g., Mrs. Fowler is a "weight loss hypnotherapist" and other mentally fluffy stuff. Interesting, in that her hubby slagged "fat people" while running his mouth on the show. Thereby alienating his wife's potential customer base, you'd think.

Mr. Fowler also bragged about his IQ (158) and laughed at the stupidity of Americans.

But in reading the "sucks" blog mentioned above, I came across this interesting note:

Thousands of people vented their anger about Stephen Fowler online and offline. Did anyone come to their rescue? No?

Wait, I found two:

1. a self proclaimed psychic from San Francisco (Hollis Polk). She seems to be friends with the Fowler's as she claims to have been at the viewing party at their house. You might wonder why she as a psychic did not foresee the outcome of this? Either she was able to see the outcome and choose not to tell them (bad friend!), or she had no clue (bad psychic).

Here you go, meet an apparently close friend of Stephen Fowler, Certified Genius:

Hollis Polk...

Title: Oracle

Gender: Female

Age: Ageless

Sun Sign: Cancer

Chinese Sign: Fire Rooster

Location: San Francisco, CA

About Me:

I'm clairvoyant, clairaudient and sometimes telepathic, and I use these talents/skills along with NLP and hypnotherapy to coach people to get what they want in life. I'm also a business person, having owned and run businesses for over 20 years (the Harvard MBA and Princeton engineering degree in decision science help here). I'm also a (mostly inactive at this point) real estate broker and real estate investor.

I guess psychic powers are no match for the real estate market. But on another site, Polk does offer psychic financial advice. This seems a natural match, since Mr. Fowler is a venture capitalist:

...Along with her Harvard education, Hollis believes this world would be a better place if every person clearly saw situations and the people around them, using their intuition as the guide. To that end, she has developed a psychic training program that develops our innate abilities to understand the world through our "clear-senses" (being clairsentient).

We thought we would use Hollis' talents to take a look into our future on many levels, including our financial well being, an area that is sometimes difficult to look at from a "spritual" or intuitive perspective, as it can bring up so many mixed emotions and beliefs. Once you see this interview, you may decide to make a further committment to tap into your own 'clear-senses', so you can look into your own future - a worthwhile investment in yourself.

1. These people seem just too dumb to survive.
Sadly though they do survive - and flourish - ripping off the credulous.

3. Ms. Polk clearly sensed that people will happily give her money
if she lays some woospeak on them. I say bravo to her, as it is clear
she has found people whose karma demands they pass the benjamins
to her...
