3. This one was odder than usual

On one level, I do kind of "get" the appeal of the indigo/crystal nonsense to parents. Every decent parent thinks their kid is really special, and wants the best for him or her, and this BS codifies that. But the post in question was gushing about someone else's kid. It was, in fact, a little bit creepy...

Where's the cachet in calling your child Indigo, if half the kids at school are Indigo too? It's necessary to regularly invent new terms to keep the concept minty-fresh and exciting.

What I want to know is: what have the Indigos achieved? The idea has been around long enough that there are now supposedly large numbers of Indigo adults. Shouldn't they have changed the world by now?
