B: So, how's the answer coming along?

A: Oh no, we don't actually answer the question, we just ask it.

True on so many levels! Also, that's the reason that kids hate English: there is no right or wrong answer, there is only the answer you can defend (much like science, in fact). Math at that level is very cut and dried, there is no room for interpretation; you either have the correct answer or you don't.
