He certainly is humble, no?

"However, I am much more than a computer scientist. I am a Global Visionary, and my desire and intention is to utilize my anticipated computer fortune to create fundamental changes in the systems, institutions and traditions on this planet: from darkness to LIGHT. "

"#

She loves others unconditionally, meaning that even if they impose a "condition" of rejecting or betraying or harming her, she keeps loving them anyway.... her mature love cannot sour into hatred.

She unconditionally loves a large number of people.... or all people.... however, she loves different people with different levels of intensity.""

4. Update #4. It is now the year 2525
and I'm still reading about his GLOBAL PLAN and all the mansions he's gonna have, and what a wonderful person he is and how I (or any other woman) will let him be the one to choose the restaurant and the food.

Hopefully I will finish this before my legs fall off....

I know that nothing any man can say has any power to trump an invocation of menses.

And I never leave the seat up.

15. Honestly, I don't see how we have any other choice.
I'm glad that the forward-thinking Chinese have already launched impact-landers with this in mind, without even asking the moon's permission first.

9. I see why you're so negative
It's because his Global Vision includes transformation of Health Care into the LIGHT, which is threatening to big pharma shills like yourself. And yet, you find you WANT to surrender to this Renaissance Man who is not afraid to use both CAPS and underlining in pursuit of his VISION, don't you?

I find it hard to believe that this incomparable catch is divorced. What woman would want to let him go? And as for the hint that he has experience of prostitutes: why would he ever have to pay for sex?

Aaaand here is his new computing paradigm:

It's a sacred investment opportunity. He's Mark Emerson, Chief Angel. I don't have time to dig into this right now, but a reading of US patent 5778370 should throw some light on the guy's impending billionairehood.

10. He is NOT a dick, so stop saying that!
You'll be sorry when he changes everything forever:

"Your audience contained a full-spectrum of people, from scientists to teenagers, from computer mavens to Internet newbies. The reviews were unanimous — what we all saw was impressive, to say the least. A day later, I am in a state of mild shock and I keep asking myself, did I actually see what I thought I saw? Did I see the most powerful, yet elegantly simple, software development tool on the planet? I feel that I have now become one of those people who witness an historic event, a watershed in human history, and spend years attempting to fully explain the significance of what they participated in.

"Oh how the historians will memorialize that day! 'There upon a wind-swept peak that looked down upon the entire Los Angeles basin, a man and his sons labored tirelessly, inspired by unseen forces and encouraged by friends and small investors. For it was there that the foundations of modern computing were to be laid upon that solid bedrock known as the AngelBase Technology.' "

—Larry Zehnder, Independent Consulting Engineer, Los Angeles, California

The guy is Dr Hfuhruhurr from The Man with Two Brains:

Dr. Michael Hfuhruhurr: Would you read that last bit back to me? I'm afraid it might make me sound pompous to your readers.
Olsen: 'My brilliant research in brain transplantation is unsurpassed, and will probably make my name live beyond eternity'.
Dr. Michael Hfuhruhurr: Oh, no, no; that's good. But take out the 'probably'. It makes me sound wishy-washy.

"I will be generous, giving the Goddess I seek 100% legal control over an appropriate portion of the anticipated wealth."

Considering he already used the term "paradigm shift" within the first page of his tome, he's batting a thousand on the loony scale.

16. Translation of all that
Edited on Tue Jul-07-09 10:38 PM by onager
Retired schoolteacher desperately wants to get laid.

Writing from where he lives, L.A.: he says he grew up in Pacific Palisades, which is a very affluent neighborhood near Malibu, Brentwood and other sites familiar to any constant viewer of trash TV. (OTOH, I live in the San Fernando Valley, which has been aptly described as "Long Island with the top down.")

If anyone remembers the book/miniseries What Really Happened To The Class of '65, it was about the students at Palisades High School. And was co-authored by Right-Wing Asshat Michael Medved, back when he was still a liberal of sorts.

But nowadays our guy lives in "an apartment on the Westside." That's a pretty sneaky description. It could cover anything from Westwood or Santa Monica to Baja Beverly Hills.

(Random Memory: some years ago, a crazy Middle Eastern gentleman bought a huge mansion on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills. The place was equipped with a lot of nude statues visible from Sunset Boulevard. The new owner had the statues painted in life-like colors - complete with perky nipples and pubic hair.

The Beverly Hills City Council was outraged and complained that the new decorations were "in bad taste." A local magazine then sent a photographer around Beverly Hills, taking pics of the fake timbered English medieval houses, the fake French chateaux, the fake Swiss chalets, etc. etc. The mag then ran these under a headline saying: "Bad taste? Beverly Hills was BUILT on bad taste!")

17. Oh right, he's from LA
I take it back, then: for LA, he's fairly normal.

He's updated the page since the OP was posted, with a message about the replies he's received. I know this is hard to believe, but some people are ridiculing him!

NOTE FOR PEOPLE WHO ENGAGE IN RIDICULE: I delete most negative replies without response. But some negative replies are FUNNY, and after my friends and I finish laughing at them, I occasionally reply just for fun! If you feel compelled to direct ridicule at me, go ahead and see if you are LUCKY enough to get a reply from me! LOL. Please be advised, however, that your ridiculous ridicule cannot touch my happiness. Nor can your ridicule persuade me that I will never find my Goddess (as numerous people have vainly attempted to do). Indeed, the ridicule I receive (when contrasted with the equal number of positive replies) confirms the truth that the awesome Goddess relationship and Global Vision described herein WILL materialize. As famously expressed by German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860):

All truth passes through three stages.
First, it is ridiculed,
second it is violently opposed, and
third, it is accepted as self-evident.

We are currently at Stage One: ridicule. I will address the complex, Stage-Two issue of violent opposition at a later time. Interested ladies must be SECURE in their knowledge that they and their family members are Divinely protected from physical harm by our vicious opponents. I and my family members are likewise protected.

I have received numerous prank replies from "women" and their ridiculing friends, who send me photos of models or celebrities with messages that they are "my goddess." If you are a qualified lady who sends me a serious reply, please accept my apology for the necessity of my doing some detective work to confirm you are legitimate.

So if you want to send him ridiculous ridicule, go ahead, with his permission. I just hope his angels are prepared for the inevitable violent mobs of stage two. As for Schopenhauer (1788-1860), I'll counter with Carl Sagan (1934-1996): "They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown".

19. I found 2 goddess candidates...
Edited on Thu Jul-09-09 11:20 PM by onager
Dating may be a little tricky, though...

Larissa Schuster - almost as smart as the Desperately Seeking Goddess guy. A local Southern California gal, she founded her own successful chemical testing lab. Which came in handy when she dumped her ex-husband into a drum of hydrochloric acid.

Melanie McGuire - told police her husband "left with his suitcases." She meant: he left IN his suitcases. Three of them, containing his dismembered corpse, which McGuire then tossed into Chesapeake Bay. If you plan to try this at home, remember that tricky "tide" thing.

(Yes, I'm hopelessly addicted to Snapped on the Oxygen Channel...)
