1. Thanks, but I'm really upset
that I can't microwave a spider to get super powers. :(

The aspartame one reminds me of being at the gym one morning and hearing a PT tell a client that aspartame converts to formaldehyde after you drink it. I was SO tempted to say something but it was about 6:30 am and I just wasn't in the mood.

2. They missed vaccinations - they kill you in a number of ways.
Shame about the spider, though.

3. It's a great article
but the comments certainly brought out the whiny whooheads.

I've tried explaining the chemistry of aspartame and why it gets less sweet if you heat it near the boiling point but what you'd have to do to it to get it to degrade into formaldehyde, but the average woohead's eyes glaze over and you just know nothing is computing.

I just wish people would realize how much being too lazy to read turns them into suckers.

4. I like the cracked.
Their article on http://www.cracked.com/article_16301_6-most-badass-stunts-ever-pulled-in-name-science.html">the 6 most badass stunts ever pulled in the name of science got me hooked and I keep going back.

Q3JR4.
As always, though, everything on the interwebs should be taken with a grain of salt.
