Talk about your 200 proof woo.
Devotion Spirits was created for YOU because we know YOU care about what’s inside your cocktail. We developed the world’s first Casein (protein) infused spirit, providing our customers with a product that adheres to their healthy lifestyle and allows them to play hard and enjoy life. ...
So I decided if I were going to be out at one of my restaurants or clubs after working out I would still maintain the philosophy that I did during the day. I would continue my intake of protein. Cases of protein drinks were stored at each establishment that I was a partner in and when I would order a cocktail, instead of mixing the vodka with a soda or juice, I would just add the protein drink and continue on. My feeling was if I was going to be bad (drinking) then I would be good (add protein). Later, I was discovering that the protein in my vodka was reducing the head banging side effects that are often contributed to with alcohol. Soon, my staff and customers tasted it and loved the idea and concept. At that point, I decided I needed to meet up with a chemist and combine the two together in one bottle (Vodka and Protein). ...
We explored everything from egg, soy and whey protein, in both powder and liquid form. I thought the tests would never end. But our will proved too strong to allow this project to falter, and eventually PeptoPro protein (casein), a Dutch product and the only casein protein approved by the Olympic Committee, arrived at my doorstep. Now, two years and a garage full of protein powder later ….Devotion Spirits was launched. ...

PeptoPro® officially tested free and free of doping substances, and won the Health Ingredient Europe Award for the best health ingredient innovation in 2004. ...
The Company will introduce the vodka in a 750 milliliter bottle at a suggested retail price of $29.99. By entering the market at a similar price as Grey Goose, the brand will immediately position itself as an ultra-premium vodka at a premium price.
http://www.devotionvodka.com/about.phpThe stuff is being marketed as speaking to the masses and a "guilt free spirit that everyone can enjoy. So why would I feel any better about spending $30 for a small bottle of vodka that has protein in it when I can spend $10 on a bottle three times as big (that is proven to taste just the same as the expensive stuff for most people) and a $7 on a giant steak and eggs breakfast at Denny's or my favorite greasy spoon and get the same effect without the woo?
