and now I need to shower and delouse. How the hell he made the leap from god, the cosmic hydraulic jack to troofer is something I don't want to know too much about, except that the poor thing is definitely in over his head in both theology and engineering.
While it might have been touching to try to help believers away from the patently false image of a deity that interfered in their daily lives to one that exerted the same pressure on everything all over the universe (such pressure never quite being defined, we're all supposed to know what it is through faith, I guess), I'm afraid his imagery of being squashed by a clanking and greasy cosmic contraption wasn't an appealing one for any of us, believer or skeptic. It was amusing, though. to see him try to reconcile theism to a god who has been absent since film was invented.
I didn't bother to delve into his trooferism beyond a quick perusal of the titles, but I did notice several sites try to assure us "he is not a crackpot or conspiracy theorist." Good try. What they failed to mention is that he's a theologian, not a structural engineer. Woops.
And he looks like such a jolly man.
