really like Arundhati Roy? I noted a lot of folks who usually line up on the other side of science and reason vs. the latest big scam/fear-mongery often use her image as their avatar.

About the only thing I can figure that would be appealing would be her anti-globalization efforts, but what does that have to do with anti-science attitudes?

Or do they just think she's pretty?

I've noticed that avatar choice too. No clue why though.
