I have watched a number of "debates" involving conspiracy theories and they often devolve into situations very similar to "debates" between non-religious (even some religious) and fundamentalists. While there are certainly some conspiracies that merit investigation, some, especially of recent, have become so "magical" that they have entered the realm of mythology. source

3. I can completely understand.

I find myself in an odd place because I often have a foot in both "worlds." I tend to lean more toward science, but I do not exclude all things. I started learning more and more about actual logic because of shit I have seen posted at this site and tried to adjust my posts accordingly. Though I will still have emotional reactions, I also have seen how so many fall on emotions rather than facts and logic, and this does not just pertain to conspiracy theories and religion.
