Some interesting stuff but I think I've become almost too skeptical. My bullshit detector went crazy, but I can't figure out why.

1. Actually, that article fits perfectly with a lot of my own personal observations

I work in an industry thats justifiably NOTORIOUS for this kinda thing. I've seen more than a few companies that back these health related sites that are thinly veiled ways to market their drugs. It is one of the few things that the woos have right about my industry, too many do this. Happily my company is very direct in its marketing and I believe whole heartedly in the promotion of things like flu vaccines, so that is fine..but for others...Merck and Pfizer are notorious for this stuff.
But yeah, I can really see that entire article being true, based on my experiences.

2. pretty good but their first "OMG conspiracy" claim is simply factual.

The CDC had to shamefacedly backtrack from their 400k obesity deaths claim because they fucked up the statistics. Doesn't matter who noticed it or pressured them to correct it. Could have been Jeff Dahmer who did that and he'd still in that instance be perfectly correct and reasonable.
