1. There is a lot of good money being made by the GMO fearmongerers

probably more than any particular biotech organization makes on a particular prodcut. Between the book publishing, the talk shows and the promotion of their own organic foods, the lawyers looking for possible health claims these people are every bit as predatory and money hungry as the companies they accuse of this.
