"100 Prophecies for the Next 100 Days!!!"

Headline on the tabloid The Sun, when I was in the supermarket check-out line earlier this week. I think it was Tuesday, so you may STILL have time to run down and buy a copy. (But I should probably note that the same article ran in August 2010, according to Mr. Google.)

What really got my attention were the prophets, illustrated with their pictures on the cover. For fairly obvious reasons, only 2 of the pix were photos.

1. A couple of years ago I was highly amused

to look at one of those supermarket tabloids and there were two totally different stories in the same issue. One explained why the end of everything as we know it was going to occur in the next six months or so, and the other was a series of predictions for the next couple of years, none of which included the end of everything as we know it.

Gotta love those publications.
