Biting my tongue so hard it bleeds....
I posted a question in the Pets Group... and didn't realize until later that one of the products was homeopathic. "Bless their hearts," the folks in that forum are some of the kindest people you could possibly meet.... but it is taking every ounce of my will power to NOT continue to respond to their vouching for the remedies.... Bach's Flower essences, Rescue Remedy, etc. Now, I *am* trying Feliway, but it is a synthetic pheromone, not a "memory-water" hoax, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

The craziest thing I have found on this subject is from www.catfairies.com/essences_faq.html

"Most flower essence producers use the "pick method" which is when flowers are picked at their peak and infused in bowls of water in sunlight. Cat Faeries and Flower Drop Faeries do not pick the flowers because we employ the no-pick method. This allows us to work with flowers and plants in a reverent manner, and gives us access to the healing benefits of plants which might be rare or endangered. We work with nature spirits, Devas, and Angels when we imprint the energy of a flower into water. There are only a handful of us worldwide who work at this deep of a level."

****MODS : I am NOT calling people out to respond there.**** I am simply venting a bit here so that I do not end up offending the very kind people who post there.

1. It's a curse being skeptical AND honest.
Because there's tons of money to be made selling all kinds of junk products to people with just about EVERY kind of interest. From "cable break-in" and magic rocks for idiot audiophiles to nature-spirit-flower-water for cat lovers - there has NEVER been a human being who was more right than P.T. Barnum.

2. There's just as many anti-vaxx crap with pet owners too sadly.
It really depresses me, I love my fellow pet owners...until they spout this nonsense. As for Feliway, I think thats a very helpful product. Its also got sound scientific backing on it as well.

5. The ones who make me absolutely crazy
are the wooheads who try to make their cats and dogs vegetarians, especially their cats. They end up with chronically sick animals with shortened life spans.

That's pure abuse, folks.

6. Oh god yes.
How can anyone look at dogs and cats mouths and not know they can't possibly be vegetarians?!

3. We had a vet once that tried to sell us that crap
It was pretty much just expensive water. This vet was also extremely nice, but we switched to a different clinic after she tried to get our doggy some canine chiropractic. Doggy spine manipulations are such a crock of shit.

4. It's especially annoying when vets and other medical doctors

buy into that crap. I mean, they went to advance school, studied the scientific method, etc, and yet they either still believe this crap or they are just unethical and see easy money.
