Conflicting woo
Of course we know that all woo conflicts with reality, but what really strikes me as funny is when you have two woo laws that stand in direct contradiction to each other.

Like the acid-alkaline nonsense about disease (that cancer thrives in acidic environments, so by eating aklaline foods you will ward off cancer) vs. the Vitamin C cure-all (Vitamin C, of course, being ascorbic ACID) - or vs. the Vinegar diet (acetic ACID)

What other fun direct contradictions can you think of?

3. Taking anything and homeopathy.
Take Vit. C or D or eat foods rich in whatever because you need more of whatever to not die RIGHT FUCKING NOW!!! vs. dilute whatever to the point where it isn't there anymore.

4. Astrology

You can study Ancient Egyptian, Ancient Greek, Babylonian, Persian, Chinese, Medieval, Sun Sign, and I'm sure others I've forgotten. All use different methodologies.

Some of the astrology websites try to explain this away with the old "universal truth" chestnut, but that won't work. It's like religion - a bunch of different "truths" with little in common, and they can't all be right.

Astrology itself won't work either, since precession means all the signs have moved from where they once were in the sky. The believers have some truly awesome explanations for that. But it will cost you extra when you have your reading, probably.

Oh, and long as I'm here - Feng Shui, touted as a "science" to make sure the qi lines are all maximized. Penn & Teller's "Bullshit" called in 3 different Feng Shui experts to the same house. They all had totally different solutions for maximizing the Whatever.

Priceless moment - one Feng Shui expert, walking out of the house after he had done his science of re-arraanging the frigging furniture. He was caught on camera saying: "The place still looks like shit."

Feng Shui(t), no doubt...
