History Channel is milking the cRapture prediction for all its worth this weekend.
Tonight on
The Nostradumbass Effect, they had (1) Nostradumbass "experts" (2) interpreting anything the he might have written about (3) the book of Revelation, apocalypse, rapture, etc. etc.
So we have a bunch of modern frauds interpreting an ancient fraud's inscrutable scribblings, based on the insane ravings of John The Whoever...from another REALLY ancient fraud.
One of those experts is probably the smarmy John Hogue, who calls himself "Hogue The Rogue (Scholar)" and wears funny hats. Back in the Eighties, Hogue wrote a book unequivocally naming Ayatollah Khomeini as the Antichrist of Revelation. After Khomeini inconveniently croaked, the next edition of the book had a new Antichrist - Saddam Hussein.
A quick Google shows that Hogue's latest candidate for Antichrist was...whoops! Osama bin Laden.
That prophecy game is really tricky these days...
