Are Playstation games much harder than Xbox?
I've had an xbox for a few years, and while I'm not a very accomplished gamer, I've been able to finish more than a few games and get really far in a lot of others.

But I recently received a Playstation II and I've tried a few games (Champions of Norrath, Jak3, Devil May Cry2...) and they're friggin' HARD!

I'm dying repeatedly on very early levels. I can't even get past the tutorial on Jak3. Now, I know I'm sorta lame, but damn - the xbox games never frustrated me so much so early.

1. Who knows...?
I went from a PS2 to XBOX and found the XBOX games to be harder. It could be just dependent on the certain type of game, or it's about getting used to a new controller?

2. I think it's the controller.
For example, when playing on a PC, I use a totally strange keyboard/mouse config. Here it is:

RMB- move forward
LMB - primary attack
MMB - secondary attack/change weapon (scroll)

Moving the mouse moves the camera.

'a' key - strafe left
'd' key - strafe right
's' key - use item
'e' key - reload
'x' key - crouch
'f' key - flashlight/torch
left 'shift' key - dash/run
left 'ctrl' key - move back

Then, when I play the same game on a 2-analog stick controller, I have to get used to having a great deal less control over the precision of the camera (and, thus, the crosshairs). I also often get confused on which button does what when playing a FPS type game using a controller instead of the keyboard/mouse config I listed above.
