1. Can you only save your game after completing a new mission? What if, say, you sprayed a couple of new tags (graffiti) that you found, can you go back and save, or not? If you can only save after a completed new mission, does it have to be one of the main story line missions? If I went and did the lowrider dance contest successfully, could I save the game?

2. Are all 100 graffiti tags all in Los Santos or are they scattered throughout the game? I'm up to about 30 but I haven't gotten to San Fiero or San Andreas yet.

1. My question about the lowrider dance contest meant, if you are repeating

the mission, or other repeat missions like burglary, taxi etc. then can you make a new savegame out of that?

2. Between missions you can save anytime in a safehouse or

savepoint. You can't save while actually on a mission but other than that there is no restriction, it advances the Game Clock a few hours. Also there are only game tags in the Los Santos area. There are horseshoes to collect in the 'Las Vegas' section(they boost your luck in casinos) and invisible cameras in San Fierro (they only show up when viewed through a camera viewfinder and you take a picture of it to mark it off)

3. Cool, thanks. What is the camera you find in CJ's bedroom for? I'm

getting towards the end of Los Santos missions and just got the ability to claim turf through gang wars. This is great because it's the ultimate fun mission to do while stuck or just goofing off, serves a purpose and not just random, pointless killing people on the street (it's FOCUSED killing people on the street, with a purpose!).

4. you can take snapshots with the camera, the pics are stored

in the your personal CTA:SA data folder in 'My Documents'. Quite good fun as an alternative to screenshots, especially with the zoom.

Some missions need photographic evidence and you use the camera for that.

Gang turf wars are OK for boosting your weapons skills as well, by the end of the game you usually have hitman level on them all.

5. I'm learning that for me, the key turf war weapon is the Molotov.

Camp on a rooftop and lob firebombs seems to work on a lot of those territories. I'm hitman on the AK47 and the SMG, but I haven't really used other weapons very much aside from the Molotovs. I haven't found a sniper rifle or shotgun yet, and don't have much occasion to use the pistol anymore.

I have 2 or 3 Big Smokey missions left before finishing Los Santos, I may try to take over all the turf in Los Santos first. I control about half of it, have squeezed out the purple gang from about half their stuff but I haven't touched the Hispanic gang yet. They seem to leave me alone when I'm on their turf, probably 'cause I haven't done many missions related to them yet.

6. get hitman on pistol and you get dual wield, same for UZIs IIRC

It's worth checking out all the nooks and crannies of the map to find armour and weapon points. There is a silenced pistol, SMGs, shotgun, armour and sniper rifle in Los Santos. It's worth finding all the police bribes, pay 'n' sprays etc. as well.

7. I just took over 100 percent of gang turf in the first part of the game. I

realize that I will have to do so all over again after I get out of Los Santos, but the turf wars are a blast, I really like them. I'm hitman on the AK-47, SMG, and Machine Pistol. Working on it for the pistol and shotgun.

Found shotguns and various armors and AK's, but I haven't seen an M4, I've heard there's only one. Yeah, knowing the bribes is key, especially since the Pay/sprays show up on your map but bribes don't.

I tried playing this game earlier and got stuck and bored, but I started again and the turf war thing really piqued my interest. I'm the kind of compulsive person who REALLY gets into a campaign to annihilate the other gangs off the map entirely. I also really like how the different building, street and bridge configurations make some of the turf wars kind of challenging. My preferred MO was definitely to bomb the gang bangers with Molotovs from rooftops, but that was just not possible in some of the territories, and I had to duke it out on the ground with my AK (again, haven't found the M4 yet and I don't believe I've done the mission where you get one).

8. I think there is one on top of one the film/TV studios near Rodeo

Also in the airport in Los Santos, you have to jump the fence to there to gain access. Just a bolt-action sniper rifle either way. For lots of strange weaponry try the trailer park type housing in Red County. Pitchforks and Blunderbuss type stuff.

I think there is a sawnoff shotgun in the grounds of the TV studios as well, you also can dual wield on hitman level.
