Wii games for old people
My son was lucky enough to have a Dad that would stand out in the cold early in the morning to get him a Wii. Now I want to know if there are any games for me to play on it.

I have trouble with some of the 3-D games but I think some of the sport games look like they might be fun. We had a lot of fun with the Play Station camera and the Wii games I've seen on TV looked like they would be fun as well.

My son, 17, is looking to expand his game collection. So far all he has is what came with the machine and a Zelda game. Although lately he's been playing with his Guitar Hero on the PSII

1. I just read an article about how Wii bowling is a hit in retirement homes
I'm not suggesting you're that old... but hey if an 80 year old likes it..

2. I haven't played it yet, but I'm excited about Tiger Woods 2007
I like the Wii Sports golf, but it lacks depth and a reasonable putter!

You might head to your local Blockbuster and rent yourself a few games to try them out and see what you like. You might start with Elebits, which my non-gamer wife enjoyed as much as my 4 year old and I did. It's pretty much an non-violent FPS.

Your son would probably enjoy Sonic and the Secret Rings and you and he could play the superb mini-games that come along with it.

Good luck and good gaming!

5. I picked up Tiger Woods 2007 last weekend
All I can so is OMG! I is hugely fun, working in very much the same way as the Wii Sports golf, but with much more depth of content. It also has 3 different difficulty levels and a few different gameplay modes, such as skins and best off the tee. I highly recommend it.

6. Wario Ware is great fun if you don't mind making yourself look like an idiot...
Some of the moves you have to do really do make you look pretty stupid, and you will certainly get people laughing at you when you play. You might have to flap your arms like you were a bird flapping it's wings, or put the remote on your nose and move it around like you were an elephant, you really have to do some strange things with the remote. This of course does make the game very fun, but it is definately not for the people who don't want to be laughed at.

4. Get the Godfather...
It is an excellent game if you are able to stomach the violence. I haven't played it on any other systems besides Wii, but the combat in it is very well done and I could not imagine it being anywhere near as good on a traditional controller. One of the best Wii games yet, second only to Zelda.

7. The sports game that came with it is fun.
I love the bowling and tennis. I'm having trouble with the Zelda Legend of Twilight game, and I'm 34, so I can't recommend that one. I've only had my Wii for a week, so those are the only ones I've tried.
