Best...Tecmo Super Bowl Site...Ever
http://www.leonardite.com/tecmo/main.html

Holy hell, is this funny to read. And nostalgic, if you've had the pleasure of playing the single greatest sports video game of all time. Fuck realism, I want my 90-yard bombs and 70-yard field goals. Are there any emulator-not-needed versions of this game floating on the internets somewhere?

1. That was a classic.
I actually watched two people get into a fight over it one night. It was hilarious.

If you're looking for the cartridge itself Ebay would be the only place I could think of, though what you'd pay is beyond me.

If you interested in trying the rom with an emulator ZSNES works great for me on Windows XP, and is very easy to use.

The rom itself is available here.

2. I remember the teams...of course they hadn't the NFL license so they had to use
these weird Japanese happy mascots. I remember one team had mermaids as the mascots. It was kind of funny actually...

3. TSB was licensed
It was one of the first to feature all of the NFL teams and players, with the exceptions of Jim Kelly, Bernie Kosar and Randall Cunningham.

But the one you refer to in your post is hilarious, especially his commentary on the Pro Bowl he set up with all of the worst players in the game.

Whoever coded this not only put in 2007 rosters for the teams, but somehow allowed for all 32 teams to be in the game instead of 28!

edit: you have to download the attachment in the first post
