i am stuck in 'Prey'.. in the room with walk way around and huge ball ascending every minute or so

this room isn't even listed in the walkthru.. on the 'load list' it is titled.."Pocession"

if you jump down thru the hole in the walkway at the end down to the platform, you cant get out but the bird lands there

Whenever you are stuck in a game go to gamefaqs.com, they usually have several different walkthroughs for every game imaginable.

3. Prey Doesn't Suck, It Just Has A Few Kinks

The portal and gravity mechanics are a bit screwy, but you get used to it. When you're stuck and have access to a shuttle, just fly around and get an idea of what the room looks like. And if all else fails, just keep shooting.
