2. There are some very cool things you can do with the wiimote, though

It's a bluetooth device with an internal IR camera. Johnny Lee, at Carnegie Mellon, managed to create a piece of free software, for example, which (combined with a $5 IR LED pen) can turn your screen into a digital whiteboard.

I use my PC on a big screen TV, so this could be something I could actually use.
