Dark Age of Camelot Thread
Are there any DAOC players out there? Which server are you on, what realm are you in and what class do you play?

I am on Hibernia Igraine. My main toons are a blademaster, a bard and a warden. I am also starting to level a ranger.

Does anybody else here play the game?

3. New Frontiers
My blademaster turned 50 at just about the time that New Frontiers came out so I can't compare pre- and post-NF experiences. However, I like NF, especially when I'm on with my bard and have to make split second decisions on mezzes, confuses and resurrection strategies. She is a RP sponge.

As you know, the blademaster, as a tank, is naturally gimped in RvR but the significant emphasis on siege warfare in NF gives her more range and, at times, helps her turn the tide of a battle. My bard is a LGM crafter who can make siege stuff quickly and I've developed another "siege bard" to carry it to battle. My 37 warden just grouped last night with four animists defending a tower in Molvik, and even though they've been nerfed, the shrooms gobbled up the Alb invaders. The Albs didn't get the better of us until my warden tried to do a rez and got jumped by two infs outside of the Lord's room. Our group went down without a healer, the Albs planned the strategy pretty well.

So in other words, I'm having fun in NF.

I'm looking forward to the introduction of Catacombs (I hope the revamps of classes help to pretty up my homely but ultra-strong Firby) and especially to its "private dungeon sessions."

LOL, if you read this without knowing DAOC I know it must look kinky.

2. Not active now
but I played from launch through ToA. Cancelled once or twice, as time demanded, but always seem to come back.

Currently counting the days till World of Warcraft launches. :)

4. Could you report back on WoW
I know a lot of folks are going to try it and have been looking forward to it. For some reason the initial visuals haven't appealed to me. But I am eager to hear about your experiences.
