something different: Post your favourite tip or trick for a game
any game at all. Just put the game in the Subject and the tip in the body of the post. I'll get it started with the first response.

1. Kingdom Hearts 2
for the PS2. Tip: When building a gummi ship, don't use a cockpit. Instead, use energy devices to power it. Build the ship as a hollow square using Blizzaga weapons.

The reason this is effective is, enemies shoot at the center of your ship. So their shots pass right through you, doing no damage.

4. Bioshock Final Boss
The final boss fight in Bioshock 1 can be stupidly easy if you have the crossbow bolt weapon and a full quiver of trap bolts. Why? The boss jumps off his platform onto the exact same spot each and every time!

All you have to do is set up a cluster of trap bolts while he is on the platform in that spot, and he'll almost kill himself by the time you're done. Finishing him off should be a cakewalk after the last time he jumps.

5. Dragon Age: Origins
There's a bit when you're going through the Gauntlet to retrieve Andraste's Ashes, where you have to face the doppelgangers of your own party. In my experience, going toe-to-toe can be frustrating as the computer runs the party much more efficiently than you do, and it can be a pretty quick slaughter of your party. However, I found the ranged attack doppelgangers will not try to engage you at close range, but stick in that chamber. So what I do is to hold my party at the very end of the hallway, at a set of steps, then run down the hallway to the chamber with the apparitions and draw out the melee characters, who chase me down the hallway to where my party is waiting. You can usually take them out pretty easily, then lead your party back down to the chamber to take out the ranged apparitions.
