Beautiful Video of autistic Boy Spinning
My sister works with autistic children and she made this video. She loves her work and the children really respond to her. A couple of people have noted how the spinning is very similar to the ecstatic dance the Sufis do.

5. Dance is so natural
It should be emphasized more in schools, brings the spirit up.

3. His movements were amazing and graceful, very poetic as well. Just like my
grandson, who is on the Autism spectrum.

4. It looks very much like dancing or some form of artistic
expression to me..........not just the product of a disordered mind............

7. His spinning brings a sense of order to his world
And by the way, please thank your sister for me. People who enjoy working with autistic children are the best kind of people in the world!
I'm writing this as the parent of a beautiful son who is somewhat autistic, and I've seen first hand the miracles that devoted teachers of handicapped children can accomplish.

8. Okay I will
She is kind of dyslexic herself and had struggles with that. The school she works for almost didn't hire her, but she had success with one boy who no one else was reaching, and they were amazed, that helped her get the job.
