Gov Richardson of New Mexico just suggested on Hardball that persons with Mental Illness should be forced to be under treatment. This was in reaction to the Virginia killings

2. My thoughts are

There will be some legislation introduced at some point that requires persons receiving SSI or SSDI for a MH diagnosis to be forcibly medicated regardless of their wishes. Non-compliance would mean you lose your disability benefits.
