Edited on Tue May-08-07 10:23 AM by Traveling_Home
Just some fun photos of gimps playing with cops in D.C.

Im in a few - mainly from the back so you'd have to look for a foot
and a half ponytail and scooter to pick me out. In one I'm in front of a
big Clock on a Sign saying It's been long enough. Just pictures of the real heroes

2. What really struck me was the cops wearing plastic gloves as if
people in wheelchairs are some how contageous. Very sad. My daughter is in a beautiful foster home overlooking a park and with the largest room in the house. She lived with me for 45 years but I could not lift and shift anymore so we were lucky to have friends who said, "Our turn.".

3. The gloves are standard nowadays
After all, protesters are disease ridden hippies. :eyes:

Don't take it personally.

5. We like them wearing gloves....

Clean gloves means no UTIs when someone with a catheter is frisked or hauled out of their chair and handcuffed or ...........

We would request them to wear sterile gloves if they didn't for our protection. Most would never let a Doctor let alone any one else come near them without being gloved. UTIs ain't no fun

The D.C. police (very experienced) did a fine job. We blocked buildings and hallways as a civil disobedience. They arrested us for it. That's the way it's supposed to work.

And we achieved all the objectives we sought as I posted in other threads.

AND - a good time was had by all!!!!!
