Thanks all for good advice re SSDI

Two+ years since my body was crispy fried I finally got disability today. Part of the problem is that no one has heard of the disease that fried me as Pharma keeps a lid on collateral damage like me. I am hoping my eyes continue to heal and that someday I may attend law school and help others through the atrocious log jam of disability. It took a near death experience for me to be treated like a pariah by doctors, psychologists and attorneys (and my wife). They said i wouldn't make it in the burn unit but in the words of Gloria Gaynor, I WILL SURVIVE and give back to others whatever I can share.
