and we plan to recognize EQ as part of our "curriculum" this year. For example, I am planning lessons around the "Quaker" life long learning skills as listed here:

I simply searched our local library and looked for easy books on persistence and plan to find many opportunities to discuss this in the coming weeks. I also plan to engage my daughter in Home-school play groups Girl Scouts etc. to involve her with others as much as possible. She has cousins who home-school so we try to gather regularly with them as well.
