1. Eek, I actually read the entire adult series--and really enjoyed it...

BUT I am not a Christian, I just liked the story--it was really quite interesting.

If people are using this to indoctrinate their kids, that's gross.

2. I agree. "Cultish" to be sure.

I think it's fine to treat these novels as sci-fi, which they are but some are teaching their children to "brace" for the destruction of human kind in the name of "love."

3. 100% agreed. As a fictional story, it was great--to take it literally is

just scary to me!

4. 90% of the people I know who've read those books take it literally.

They believe this stuff is going to happen pretty much as described in the books.
