Help - I need an online buddy for my daughter.
She is 10-1/2, and I feel a strong DU community here. I'd like her to experience that too.

1. I should make it clear that I was hoping that another DU homeschooler ..

would have a kid her age to talk to online via email. I'm trying to connect her with other kids with progressive parents (as opposed to kids with Religious-Hardrightie-parents.

Homeschooling is really working out for us; I look forward to conversing in this Group.

5. Boy, I'm sure glad he loves ..
Colbert and the Daily Show.

It feels so good just to know that some DU homeschoolers exist. We don't feel so alone in the world.

but good luck in your search for a buddy!

eta: have you ever looked a the blog www.progressivehomeschool.com I think that the girl might be your daughter's age. Her mom is very nice. I have emailed her a few times. I can't remember if she is on here or not.

4. Thanks, I'll check it out.
StoryTeller and I may have worked out an emailing situation.

Again, thanks for the link.

I go now to 'encourage' her to get up and get dressed!
