Liberating!
That's what I am feeling after the first couple of weeks. No more crowded school commutes and shifting kids to and fro' to simply have them waste time.

We are contemplating a study trip to Paris for a month this Spring. As long as they have network connection, they can complete their K12 sitting outside the Louvre or on the Champs Elysees.

We do K12 online curriculum through Dubai K12 Academy.

I also feel liberated from the British Curriculum... It seriously was not working for my daughters.

2. My wife, CYLRC is their main coach... she would take them to Paris for 3 weeks

and then I would join them during Spring Break for the 4th week in April.

Planning stages at the moment... also could end up another European city depending...

3. We travelled with 2 young daughters around France
when they were about 3 and 6, for about a month. The French were great, friendly and helpful, perhaps because the girls were with us. Have a WONDERFUL time, and keep us informed, please!

I know what you mean about Europe. We did a farm stay near Rothenberg in Germany 2 years back and the girls had an absolute blast... as did we. They loved saddling up the ponies and feeding and playing with the animals. They are 12 and 15 now, so France may be an eye-opener in more ways than one... I guess we will find out if French boys still uphold their reputation... lol

5. The trip sounds wonderful!
The first day we began homeschooling - well, it was one of the happiest days of my life! It's been four and a half years now, and I don't regret the decision to homeschool one bit! My daughter has gotten to do so many exciting things!
