1. I kinda like Jean Harlow.
I read a biog of her a few years ago - can't remember what it was called
off the top of my head - and she had a lot of spirit, but was also used
by a lot of people, from her mother on down. Only twenty-six or so when
she died, but she left quite a body of work (not least because the studio
worked her literally into her grave).

All the films on this list are worth looking at - happy viewing!
