One, Two, Three is a romp, albeit one rooted in the Cold War, but the other films don't exactly say laugh-fest.

It's TCM who christened tonight's offerings 'Happy 50th'. I don't see how, unless they are trying to be ironic, any of this evening's films could be considered 'happy'! They all provide plenty of angst for us to wallow in-
