1. "All This And Heaven Too".

If ever there was a tear-jerker, this is it. I adore this film -
everybody in it does a great job, most especially Bette Davis and Charles
Boyer.

Who would think that one of the greatest love stories ever put on film
would be one where the lovers don't even kiss? But the chemistry
between the two stars is so powerful, it just carries you along. I cry
every time I see it - and I've seen it lots.


I also think "The Woman in White" is very good - but if you like it,
read the book. It's even better.

Edit to Add: The author of "The Woman in White" was Wilkie Collins, and
the book was the first mystery novel ever written.
