TCM Schedule for Thursday, May 15: Jerry Goldsmith
My apologies for not including my usual commentary. I just came from the Clinton victory speech here in West Virginia. I was high as a kite, feeling that we, as Democrats, not just as Clinton supporters, are going to succeed. We are going to win in November -- win the White House, the Senate, the House. I was interviewed by a couple of different print reporters, and told both of them that, although I voted for Hillary, I fully intended to support whoever was the Democratic candidate in November.

But then I made the mistake of looking at some of the primary coverage in GDP. Apparently I am really a toothless, barefoot, illiterate, racist subhuman. According to a surprisingly large number of the folks here at DU, my vote shouldn't count, my citizenship is suspect, and I am worthless as a human being.

I'll be back...probably next week. I have always been treated so well by those of you here in the Classic Films group. But I'm leaving DU for a while. I don't like to hang around where I'm not appreciated.
