1. Hm. Might need to tape the "resisting interrogation" film.
Where else are we going to find such a potentially useful bit of information? A sad commentary on the times.

2. Must give a shout-out for "Breaker Morant."

Of all the Australian movies I saw during the late '70s/early '80s, that's definitely my favorite.

View the trailer here.

Of course American audiences have seen a lot of Jack Thompson and Bryan Brown, both of whom took on various American TV and movie roles, and of course Edward Woodward had his own show, The Equalizer, which was an unconventional take on the crime-fighting genre.

3. I agree with you about "Breaker Morant" - it's one we can be proud of.
Although I'd classify it as "anti-authoritarian" rather than straight-
out anti-war.

But I'm sorry to see they haven't included "Oh, What A Lovely War",
which I think is the best anti-war film ever made (I know, I've said
that on this forum before). Won a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film
of 1969. Everybody who was anybody, and a lot who weren't, was in it.

It's had a bit of a revival here since the Iraq invasion, and also, I
believe, in the U.K.
