Can we find a more effective way to boycott?
Edited on Sat Mar-12-05 10:37 AM by CindyDale
Rather than focusing on political contributions made by employees of corporations, I believe it would be more effective to concentrate on the corporate affiliations of Board Members of the foundations that are financing the corporate takeover of our civilization.

For example, the Bradley Foundation has financed PNAC, among numerous other projects:

Chairman of the Board is now Thomas L. Rhodes:

Thomas L. Rhodes is on the board of AIMCO:

I can get a list of AIMCO apartments in my city by going through:

One of them is right near me. Ugh.

That is just an example of what could be done. What do you all think of this type of boycott?

1. I think that we've been looking at corporate donors
not the contributions of the corporation's employees (corporations have "personhood" and can and do make political contributions). I do think that the type of boycott you've outlined can be effective too, though. I would just involve a bit more research.

2. if you have Air America in your town, be sure to support the local
advertisers

there was an apt complex advertising for a while, bet they're all filled up now (and it would be a fun place to live I bet)
