Hadn't restrung a nylon string since the 80's.

Totally forgot how.

Then, you've got all the stretching to do. Jack Cicchini was a guitarist from Chicago who invented a little device that was exclusively designed to speed up the process of getting the slack out of nylon strings.

Don't know if they make them anymore. I bought one back in the late 70's or 1980 at the latest. Still have it, but since i don't play nylon string anymore, i haven't used in a really long time. At least i'll have it if i ever end up buying a classical guitar again. (Although it would have be really cheap.)
