Oh, I just LOVE this!
Now the consensus is that if you don't support Hillary, you must be a Barack supporter.

And if you don't support Barack, you must be a Hillary supporter.

I just told one DUer that some of us don't like EITHER of the candidates, and we're just trying to figure out which one is the LEAST OFFENSIVE that we can stomach and vote for without puking our guts out.

I also told him we were put in this situation by people who checked their brains at the beginning, and fell in love with making "history" for what it's worth. :puke:

What a sorry, sorry situation this is. They don't seem to get it: ALL OF THE CANDIDATES SUCK. MCSAME...CLINTON...OBAMA...they are all the same...they SUCK!

And to think we could have really done something wonderful this election...but no...let's make history by electing the oldest man on Earth, the first woman, or the first black man...that's really what's important, isn't it? :eyes:

1. It makes me ill too -
But, it seems that Clinton is getting the shorter end of the stick here. I have to hand it too her, at least she's trying to put out policy proposals, but no one is paying attention because the bright and shiny thingy over there just sparkled and everyone has to stop and go Ohhh, pretty! I'm wondering how much of this will go away once the primaries are over? I'm seeing only about 20 long time DU'ers in the fray, there are so many I've never seen before recently.

Maybe it's Rove's evil plan all along...

2. No, they don't get it. And that is the very reason why we are in this mess,
Because THEY JUST DON'T GET IT!

They are infatuated with a false image of themselves, their country, their government and their candidate. Everything seems to fit into some neat little package and all that's required to fix all of our huge problems is to get their candidate elected. This holds true especially for one of the two candidate's supporters.

I am always having to add "I don't like either one of them!"

And the funny thing is THEY JUST DON'T GET THAT EITHER!

3. You are so right...
this is a very sorry situation and the crazies on either side just don't get it. The NC primaries are coming up next week and I have repeatedly asked myself what will I do?

Thanks to Jerry Meek, the head of the state Democratic Party here in NC, when John dropped out Meek decided to remove his name from the primary ballots so I won't even be given the opportunity to do a write in vote.

My Mom is the Democratic Judge in her voting precinct and I've seen a sample ballot for the May 6th primary. Democrats can vote for either Gravel, Clinton, Obama OR No Preference for President. I can't even say I want Edwards--which just sucks. I feel like my voice is being stifled and I can't even say whom I want. I just want this election season over.

My biggest fear though is what comes after the election. Not to be a downer, but I think that if Obama is elected that a hard reality will become very apparent after he takes office and all his rabid supporters will get one rude awakening. I don't see it as much if Hillary is elected, but there might be some.

I have never been so conflicted about a national election as this one. I don't want McCain in office because I know what will happen with him. On the other hand, not voting, or throwing my vote away on a principal is something I've never done in all my years of voting. Yet can I hold my nose hard enough and vote for the Dem nominee.

Damn! Damn!! Damn!!! :argh:

4. Gotta remember how a McCain Pres. would affect the Supreme Court
That may be enough to get you through the bad smell. I fear for our country if McCain is elected.

5. I am very worried that the Dems will get slaughtered in Nov if BHO is the nominee. I'm pulling for
Hillary - hoping for a brokered convention where either Gore or Edwards (or both) could step in to unify the party.

8. I agree completely
with everything you posted. They all suck big time, and I cannot imagine voting for any of them. What a freaking disgrace that we have this sorry and miserable lot running for the highest office in the land, especially now, at this critical time in our history. None of them is suitable to be president. We are screwed.

9. No truer words...
I know I should "support" the party and pick one of these losers... but I'm kind of looking forward to being one of those idiots who ruins the election.
