Mellencamp-Clinton tix ready for Saturday

Interesting, someone had posted an article previously, indicating that original Edwards supporter John Mellencamp had shifted to the Obama camp after Edwards suspended his campaign. But it appears JM is trying to help Clinton as well. As the article indicates, "You might say he’s an equal-opportunity rocker."

"John Mellencamp fans who want to attend the singer’s performance at a Hillary Rodham Clinton event on Saturday night need to pick up free tickets online or at a campaign office, an announcement today said.

Mellencamp will join the Democratic presidential candidate on the Lawn at White River State Park, 801 W. Washington St., at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.

Thanks for bringing it up, it's good to know that about John Mellencamp.

Do you want to post this in GD? It would probably get lost in GDP, but maybe not in GD. I think it is a good task to help educate "the masses" with positive Edwards threads. As you noticed this was easily seen earlier as an Obama endorsement by Mellencamp, likely due to media phrasing.
