Or do you feel like you are watching a train wreck in slow motion and just knowing what the outcome is going to be?

I mean this idea that the Messiah is going to magically cure all of our ills shortly after being sworn in and right before the inaugural ball (while still managing to take a nap, shower and change clothes mind you)is just mind-boggling...

I have as little theory I would like to propose: The GOP has fielded the worst possible bunch for this election because they know that WHOMEVER gets in for the next four is screwed. This is "Jimmy Carter" redux! Don't get me wrong, I loved Carter...but da yum! I can see it now...come about 2011...the reincarnation of Reagan will magically come on scene and save the world...

1. Unfortunately I have had similar thoughts....

since the beginning of this campaign season. The Shrub has done such a thorough job of screwing up this country, it was my feeling that we needed to put forward the strongest candidate possible to correct everything he had done.

That candidate to me was John Edwards.

I truly believe he could have changed things and survived all the crap left behind by Bush and his cabal. On the other hand, the two remaining Democratic candidates I feel won't try to make any changes, no matter what they promise.

Like you, the set up here does remind me of what happened after Carter took over. He stepped into 8 years of Republican crap and wasn't given the chance to correct things. Unfortunately, the American public has a chronic case of short term memory and wanted to blame him for all the ills we were going through.

I fear that we are looking at just such a scenario as you mentioned.

2. I think this slow train wreck we are watching

has been going on since "they" took down JFK and masked the investigation.

It was further solidified with the taking down of MLK and Bobby Kennedy, and then so many others.

Then the neocon agenda took root in the American psyche as good business and we allowed ourselves to be sheepled for a few trinkets of "feel good".

So much has been twisted and manipulated.

During the brief periods that the highest office of the nation, and the world, has been occupied by a Democrat, in all these years since Eisenhower made his dire warning to us, the fascists have controlled everything from behind the scenes, and more recently right out in the open.

We have been duped.

Why should it be allowed that someone can change it now?

We masses of little people the world over are screwn.

3. Founding of the federal reserve

Back in the 19teens may be more the source, and it could go back even further. And the parallels with Germany can't be ignored. (Wasn't Preston Bush a sympathizer with the regime?) At least the founding fathers, who were part of the elite, had a sense of noblesse oblige and took "care" of the people. I think some have tried to break free from the paradigm they were part of since the stranglehold really took, Kennedy, Carter, and they paid with life and job.

We could appeal to everyone's better nature, find a way to convince the "liberals" of the truth of the matter, we need all the 99% who aren't billionaire's. Even if we go with the 90%, we could still capture many in the upper 10% as many of them have relations that can be pointed out, and they can be "touched" when appealing to their better sides (I truly believe this). Those of us who work better taking an aggressive stance should, by all means, follow that way, Wake them up. I'll keep trying the catching more flies with honey than vinegar mo. And I'll still try to be the "good" shephard and try to round back in the lost 10% fold, I know quite a few, and know how to get to them. We need plenty of shepherds working with the 90% many of whom need only to realize we're all on this train.

I still think the 9/11 truthers may have something, whether you want to buy into that or not, if we can convince the people about the truly egregious and absolutely evil the power and greed of those in power is, we may hit a chord. Scream, cajole, appeal, beg, but don't give up the ship yet! or send someone down the line to throw a switch...

I only took it back to the sixties because that is the most recent series of events that our generation can relate to. Also, to remind us that it is not just shrub and zany and the last decade where this manipulation originates.

As to the 9/11 Truth Movement, my next paragraph is preceded by a tinfoil warning for those who may be sceptical about how thoroughly this cabal reaches into our society. So, please put your tin-foil on or delve no further!

I've recently been looking into the 9/11 details, even going beyond the usual (blaring) cover-up conspiracy into the realms of complete media complicity and the "no planes theory" where all of the sanctioned videos used on that day, including the "amateur" videos, were tailor made with special effects overlays, and what people heard and saw were actually missles directly targeting locations on the buildings with corresponding, pre-set charges to widen the impact site (the "no plane" postulations really pisses people off). Then the steel and concrete buildings BOTH fall completely to the ground. And also looking into the eyewitnesses one sees that many of them were actually not just people on the street, but media execs. and etc, who were conveniently close to the disaster and a phone call away.

Even if one sets aside the no planes at the towers theory, where is the definitive photographic evidence for Flight 93 and the Pentagon? What about bldg. 7?

I know people rightly want to dismiss these seemingly outlandish theories, and I understand. Many cry foul because of the people who died on the planes; where are they? I think getting to the bottom of all of this is most important. It is obvious to me that there is much more going on than we are being told.

5. Full space suits, not just helmets... sorry!

Saw "Loose Change 9/11 final cut" (free online, link on edit) recently, Korie Rowe actually fielded questions, but this version is not the dramatic, anger producing film like the first two editions. Its a just the facts ma'am, nothing speculative movie that points out pretty incontrovertible info. especially regarding building 7 and the flight 93 crash site. I recommend watching both 2 and 3 actually.

BUT as horrible as the possible truth is, its really just a red pill to feed to people to WAKE THEM UP to the evil inherent in the power complex. I'd watch the second if you haven't, its an expanded version of the first, and so different from this to be a totally different flick. Its much more incendiary.
