3709530, I'm really starting to think that Edwards has a decent shot at being our nominee.

He's been stellar recently, doing a good job of setting himself apart from the other candidates and defining himself. It really looks as if his support is getting strong.

I'm still a Gore supporter, myself- I'll be holding out for awhile. But Edwards is doing very, very well.

And I think that if Sen. Clinton continues to falter- and she very well may- it could be Edwards that will step in and fill the gap.

I guess it all depends on what's going on at the time of the Iowa caucus, and what the Iowans think.

1. I have to agree.
In spite of the damned polls and those of some repute who claim to read them this way and that - there's an undefinable undercurrent that John's riding. I could quote this snippet and that, but it's really a collective of these things that's driving the aforementioned undercurrent. It's almost as if the bruhaha and folderal of the Obama & Mama show is just a distraction from the meat of the field. I'd go so far as suggeting that it's a good thing those two luminaries are hogging the spotlight. In doing so, they're revealing their flaws while there's no similar microscopic illumination on the rest of the field.
I've sent John what I can last week and I plan to keep doing that every week until he's the nominee. Please - anyone else - let's help this voice of the people to ultimately be OUR spokesperson in the oval office! We've suffered long enough to have well learned the lesson that it's MONEY that decides who calls the shots in DC. Being retired, I can't write some corporate-mimicing mega-check, but collectively, we have a shot at putting our wishes foremost in the Capitol.

2. Please, please, please be right! I am so depressed that his JJ speech has gotten no play by
the media.....in fact, Chris Matthews has Edwards on a downslide.

I hate this!!

3. Agree. The Edwards campaign is playing it smart. They're a tough bunch.
The frontrunner has name recognition, big bucks, the Big Dog, and connections galore, including the mainstream media.

But we've got John Edwards.
