Ariana Huffington claims Elizabeth Edwards posting?
on blogs anonymously defending the Edwards. We know Elizabeth posted here for many years anonymously back in the day (thought that was amazing!) Is she back here again?

1. I hope you found a better link than I did.
I found mine on EENews, a link on Benny05's blog, and I didn't like it at all. More trashy details. And it made Elizabeth sound like a catty harpy. I don't need any more painful mockery of the little details that humanized them and made us love them.

2. Arriana stated it on "The View" today
and then when pressed said she didn't have proof...but she put it out there.

3. I've read through this Cheribum's postings
on HuffPost and other places, it is NOT Elizabeth Edwards. Just another smear campaign, sadly.

4. I agree. EE would never "praise" herself the way cheribum
praises EE wisdom and her writing. Do I think it is possible EE despises RH? Why shouldn't she? I know she makes me vomit!

6. Ariana too close to RH to be credible, other pundits closer still
Ariana might also be projecting upon EE what she herself considered and maybe did when her then husband and GOP candidate for CA governor was outed midst a swirl of rumors.

Ariana is now at the top of the LA, Hollywood, SD, Santa Barbara "scene": bloggers, MSM, politics, money, celebrities of all types, ... Many involved also in NYC and DC, plus some ties to South FL and to CO. Hunter was in all these "scenes", though mostly as an extra or walk-on with a few credited minor roles, but with ties to enough of those "in the know" that I am almost certain that many knew a lot early on, maybe in part from emails from Hunter to friends.

When Hunter separated, she rented for two years a room in the home of Ann Bardach, the prominent blogger and author of definitive framing articles about Jon Benet, Elian, Posada, voting in FL, Cuba, and more. The parties Bardach hosts rival Ariana's, but more selective. Bardach now lives mostly in Santa Barbara. No mention that Hunter's father-in-law was the Boulder DA in the Jon Benet case?

People like Mickey Kaus, one of Bardach's best friends since she moved from NYC to LA, have been somewhat coy in posting a few tidbits; I think it likely he had met Hunter along the way and that through the grapevine learned about Edwards. Other people like Ariana or Lawrence O'Donnell are less likely to have known Hunter personally, but just as likely to know any gossip.

A big question remains: Did Edwards know who RH really was? Did his staff not run a background check, since just having her around a candidate (with no affair) was too risky? Incompetence, accident, or deliberate?

7. Very interesting questions. Personally, my guess is, John thought, as he said he was "invicible"
and didn't bother to check. it is likely that if anyone knew and told him , he either wouldn't belive them, or didn't care.
