All right, all you speculators out of the room, NOW.

Damn, I wish I were a mod.

All sources in the JRE saga lead back to the National Enquirer, 99 percent of the time.

They are right mainly because they are the virtually ONLY ones pursuing the Edwards case. Have you noticed the tabloid sections in whatever store you go into? It's ONLY the Enquirer taking an interest. None of the other tabloids will touch it.

So, hungry for sources as we are to prove our suspicions, we just use what pops up on the ol' Google-- and whatever we find, given enough degrees of separation leads back to the Enquirer. To the point where FOX Charlotte and the fuckin' Charlotte Business Journal used the Enquirer as a source. Hey, it's simple inductive reasoning, right? They were right about him once, they are right about him in everything!

Yeah, right-- in the way a stopped clock is right twice a day.
The story about her moving to Wilmington was false, the story about Elizabeth divorcing him was false, and now this Charlotte house story is false.

This is a board for Edwards supporters. I take my own wild speculations to a place where people will listen to them and actually make discussions. Or, I make use of the personal message tool.

My further thoughts on this can be found here.

Oh... and thank you, Waiting For Hope and benny06, for keeping up the good vibes for both Elizabeth AND John.

1. This should cheer you Monte :)
It's from the Weekly Standard (yeah, I'm still a political junkie, I read everything, keeps me centered and sane)and was thrilled to see this reference to JRE...from a conservative viewpoint.

It turns out John Edwards had a point: There really are two Americas. There's the America of the "expert" schemers, planners, and centralizers inside the Beltway, who think they know what's good for the people, whether the people like it or not. And there's the America of just about everyone else. They are no doubt the ones Irving Kristol had in mind when he wrote, "The common people in such a democracy are not uncommonly wise, but their experience tends to make them uncommonly sensible."

The title of the article is The Two Americas and it's not an Obama friendly essay, so I won't post the link, per DU rules. I was just thrilled to see a shout out to John in such a positive way !

I have the link, guess it would be okay to PM me for it?
