John already has a new place and they filed papers but must be seperated for a year before divorcing in NC. Sad. I think had they not been so hounded by the media, they could have gotten throught this.That being said, if Edwards has anything to do with that b**ch Hunter, I will personally carry pitchforks against him.I guess thats why john may have felt free to party recently.Guy sure knows how to make a bad situation worse!

I imagine he is beyond humiliated and ashamed by what he's done. He had the respect and admiration of millions, and now this. Of course Elizabeth and the children are suffering. Not only is this a private grief, but because John was a public figure, their pain is being chronicled in the tabloid and main stream media. As a former Edwards supporter, this still hurts. I firmly believe in his message, and feel that this country would be in a far better place if we had a president who was championing those issues and concerns. I just hope someone will pick up the mantle in time to save this country. And I hope the media frenzy will cool on this scandal so the family - and especially the children - can heal and move on.

8. WRAL ran video form JE & EE at UNC game a few weeks ago

I personally know all to well that divorce/separation/whatever can go through some really strange phases. Crazy does not begin to describe the situations one can "experience".

Anyway, I thought it strange that the separation story was run on WRAL with video of John and Elizabeth together at a UNC basketball game a few weeks ago, sharing a popcorn and talking.

Hunter should keep out of NC since our state still allows spouses to sue "homewreckers" for alienation of affection. It happens a lot more often than one might think, jury trial and all the trimmings. Most just don't get played in the local press.
