Dear Zak,
I am very pleased to hear that you and many other volunteers traveled from northern California over to Reno this past weekend to help campaign for John Edwards.
Our staff in Reno said that you were busy all weekend, making phone calls, handing out flyer's, canvassing, making banners, and culminating by helping with the fantastic town hall. From the time you arrived to the moment you left, you were working hard!
They told me that the event would not have gone as well as it did without you. I understand you were hanging banners, putting up sings, handing out literature, signing up more volunteers and handing out energy efficient light bulbs. John even mentioned the people standing on the freeway overpass and holding signs on the street to direct people were very enthusiastic and helped get him excited to go into the event.
It is people like you that are going to carry this campaign through the nomination process; that is why I sincerely hope that you can find the time to go back to Reno and help out as much as you can.
I cannot express enough how wonderful it was for me to hear about your activities this weekend. Your constant enthusiasm, support, activism and genuine belief in John Edwards are what drive this campaign every day. Together, we are going to make sure that John Edwards is the next President of the United States.
Please pass this e-mail along to those who joined you in Reno and thank you for all of your support and help. I know our Reno staff would love to see you again. I hope to be out on the trail with you soon! Keep up the good work!
Sincerely,
Congressman David Bonior
National Campaign Manager
Thought you might like to know that John Edwards, and the people that work for him, knows how to be gracious, and grateful.
