2. I think....
.... It's already more than just on DU. There's STILL a non-notice of Edwards (and the other "also-rans") on MSM coverage. I don't think I ever gave much thought to how corporate America tries to shape my thinking before. Either that or they're simply trying to lend more time to the spectacle of a black and a woman duking it out. :grr:

3. I agree with you about the support being more widespread.
A few weeks ago I mentioned to two of my co-workers that I had chosen my candidate and that it was John Edwards. They nodded in agreement that he was the best choice. Now, my workplace, admittedly, tends to be pretty progressive, but still it was great to hear that my colleagues (who are progressive, but not as political as I am) were thinking along the same lines!

BTW: Check out DU - the Greatest Page is hopping with positive Edwards threads! Plus, a ton of Gore supporters coming into the fold! Iowa is a heartbeat away and so is the Presidency...President Edwards, I love that!

It has been decades since I have seen everyday people, non-political people, respond the way that I saw them respond to Edwards the other night.

This is not to dismiss or criticize the other candidates nor their supporters. "We are better than that." All of us. Together we can do this.

8. It's a movement.
It's an organic thing. I really believe that. Take a look at history, the last time there was this much of a discrepancy between the rich and the poor, was at the start of the last great Progressive revolution, starting more than a hundred years ago. We've been waiting, now we've found a leader to rally behind.
