I heard him speak in Iowa, and I was SOOOO impressed!! A real progressive populist!! I'll do what I can to help out here in Illinois!

I just got back from volunteering for 6 days in Iowa, there's nothing quite like seeing him speak in person, is there?

3. He's an amazing speaker--and said what I want to hear.

Frankly, I don't trust this "reaching across the aisle" stuff. I'm afraid those who reach across the aisle will get their hands bit off. We need someone who'll stand up to the Repugs and the corporatists!!

Where were you in Iowa? I just spent a week's vacation visiting old friends and listening to speeches. The friend I was staying with caucused for Edwards after hearing him in Algona. She had been leaning toward Obama before hearing Edwards in person.

5. I was in Council Bluffs-

The south/west corner, right next to Omaha.

6. I know it well. Have several good friends in Omaha.

I used to live in North Central Iowa, near Ft. Dodge.

7. C-cold place for me-

Being from Ca, but again, well worth the trip.

8. I love Iowa, Hope to move back in a few years.

I need wide open, flat spaces to feel whole. If I don't get to central Iowa every 6 months, I think I'd be climbing the walls.

But I can see how it might not seem hospitable to a Californian.
