And it's just not the fuglies on DU bashing JRE with their Obama,Kuch or Hillary avatars/sig lines. I really don't like the Obama and Hillary campaigns' staff and strategies. I really don't like the racist and gender talking points and frames.

Though, I'm leaning Hillary. No way Obama. He's no Colin Powell (ok, circa 1999, I was on that train). My true #2 Biden and #3 Richardson are "out".

John's in it for the long run, and I hope til the last delegate vote is counted at the DNCC, and so will I, because I don't have a second choice.

Or I will stay home.

Any thoughts? What say you guys? :grouphug:

1. For now, I haven't given either of the others much of a thought.
Fortunately so far I haven't had to. I feel it's much too early to be giving up so I'm focused on the present. What happens in the future is still up in the air. I'll start making a "second choice" decision WHEN and IF (hopefully IF) I have to. Right now it's all Edwards.

I can't make a decision 'now' because I don't have to :D

I certainly don't want to:

12. I am leaning towards
Hillary Clinton. I am just not a fan of Obama and the "Si Se Puede" slogan he is using is just rubbing me the wrong way. I feel like he is pandering for the Latino vote and is patronizing me at the same time. I am insulted.

14. Obama is my second choice.
I can't vote for Hillary in the primary because I honestly feel that a Hillary Clinton presidency is not what this country needs right now. But if she wins the nomination, I'll vote for her in the general.

15. I will vote for John Edwards, of course, and I will vote (reluctantly) for Hillary
if she is the nominee. I will not vote for Barack.

Why?

Obviously, Edwards is far and away the best choice for President. His plans make sense, they can be done without excessive cost, he is going to fight the big corporations, end the war and bring the troops home, deal with unfair tax dodges, etc.

I will vote for Hillary, because with her at least we know what we're getting. We know she's addicted to corporate money, and that she'll change her stance on issues to suit the current audience. We also know she'll be better than any Republican in the White House. The Clinton years weren't perfect, but they were far better than the Bush Little Boots years.

So, I guess I rather know what I'm up against going into it as opposed to Barack, which is a loose cannon in my book. He says one thing and does another. He loves the big corporate money as much as Hillary, but he doesn't own up to it the way Hillary does. He makes speeches that sound like they were written for someone else. He's vague, and I get the feeling there's no real substance below his skin.

Plus, I have a huge issue with his support of Donnie McClurkin, which defies logic. And that makes Barack unfit for the Presidency in my opinion.

Nope, I will NOT vote for either of the corporate shills.

If I vote at all if Edwards isn't on the ticket, it will be a write-in for Edwards.

That's all.

I've drawn my line in the sand.

At almost 62, I can do that.

Given that my name is the same as John's mother, what else could I possibly do?

21. I thought Plucketeer
had the best response, and the one that mimics my own.....Canadian Citizenship.

But seriously, I don't want to hang around to be able to say, "I told you so", to all the Obamites, to see what Corporatism will do when allowed to run it's final course.

I expect by that time, DU will be classified "undesirable", as will all other liberal sites.

The days of the Corporate Rule are around the corner, unless stopped at this watershed moment. As John would say, I feel that way down to my bones. We are on the verge of losing our Democracy.

22. Second choice is MRS. EDWARDS!
She'd be a whole lot more real than Hillary and a lot more credible. Obama....no more appeasement! I am so tired of the black-male-Oprah....and as a black man, I expect more.
