Tonight for Edwards..............

I am getting out the yellow legal pad and writing down the names and phone numbers of all of the people I have spoken with who like/support/ John Edwards.

I am going to call each and everyone before the debate and ask them to watch.

And in the same conversation, I am going to ask them to donate what ever they can, to his campaign on Friday.

I am going to ask what position or policy they favor Edwards on, and engage them in a very brief conversation about what THEY think.

I am going to then change my script, and then ask if John can DEPEND on them to donate Friday.

I am going to thank them for speaking with me and them tell them I have a box of Edwards bumper sticker magnets, and I will drive one over to their house to deliver it personally.


I am peddling as fast as i can.

2. I am going to a meeting with the state Edwards Chair tonight and pick up some stuff to distribute

and hopefully fimd out what we are doing in my state.We have a conference call with national as well.

3. So far, I have made calls that will get John $1,050.00 on Friday. I have gotten email

addresses and will email the link to his donation web page.

I am in big trouble, because I have to order more bumper stickers and need to get them ASAP so I can deliver them.


I am very excited and very proud of the people who were for the most part, very very open and receptive.

It made me a bit nervous, but I did "ask for the order" by asking if John could depend on them donating. No one hesitated to say yes.


I think these are people who have been thinking about donating to Edwards anyway.......and I lucked out by calling at the right time.

Wow, I wonder how many more calls I will make before someone hangs up on me.....it is bound to happen, but so far so good.
